My obligation is to do the right thing.
The rest is in God’s hands.
Martin Luther King, Jr.I love this quote from a man who, literally, changed the course of history by His obedience to God….I want to change my world too…..even if right now it seems to just consist of many sleepless nights, diapers, teething, saying no to hands in the toilet, trash, and anything else repulsive that a 22-month-old boy can get himself into, bug & lizzard catching, worm hunting, library books strewn across the dining room table, homeschooling, tennis lessons, skateboarding, deafening loud music coming from every corner of my 1500 square foot home, being a cheerleader and believing in the men that I live with on a daily basis, praying for their struggles, listening to their fears, rejoicing in their accomplishments…..crazy in love with all of them…..sigh! This is my world….sometimes overwhelming, but never, ever boring…..and in the deepest part of me…..I know I have a small part in changing the world I live in….
Changing My World….One Boy At A Time….

you do… you do…
Everytime you write about your boys…I see Jesus so clearly.
🙂
This is IMPORTANT WORK you are doing.
Your love shines in every word. And in every picture of your boys…and the men they will be.
Be encouraged.
Hey walking buddy!
You are changing your world. I’m so grateful for your friendship online and off. God uses you to bless me in many, many ways.
Hooray for those endorphins.
I bet you are the best mom ever…
and you are SUCH a great writer.
I see so much beauty in your faith…it has been tried and tested…IS being tried and tested. This journey that Daley and I and Dylan and etc. are going through…it’s a tough one. The one where you get a lot of bruises, you learn to cry not out of choice but of necessity…Cyndi, you are a mom that has been there, you get it, you can point out your bruises ans scars and say, “And that’s where I found God. That’s when He rescued me. That’s why I’m beautiful.”
So, thank you for teaching us how to navigate this difficult…marvelous…rare time in our lives.
P.S. can I have your apple betty recipe?
